Covid changed the world as we knew it. Many things are slowly returning to normal, but one thing has not quite gotten back to normal at Shiloh is the number of volunteers and visitors they receive each year. Recently though, a number of people have been able to go and see the boys and staff, and it's been such a wonderful thing for the Shiloh family! One of our long time donors, Julie, visited with her family and wanted to share this with our donor family:
"My family (myself, husband and two daughters, ages 10 and 12) had the pleasure of visiting Susan and the kids mid December for 2 days. Although Susan and I talk fairly regularly, we were still blown away to see all the amazing work that is being done. The boys were happy, well fed, and well taken care of. I loved seeing them lining up for food and praying enthusiastically prior to eating. We got to play some cricket and other games with them. Susan cooked us warm comfort food that she poured her love in to! Her chai was amazing as well. What surprised me was how her ministry goes further than her boys (whom she treats as her sons). Many local villagers come to church on Sundays to be blessed with God's word and a meal. I was so blessed to see how her love of God goes beyond what she pours into the boys but she also ministers to many locals providing food and work for them. I’m so thankful to know her and help with this amazing ministry." Let us know at [email protected] if you'd like to go and have your own experience at Shiloh!
