Covid changed the world as we knew it. Many things are slowly returning to normal, but one thing has not quite gotten back to normal at Shiloh is the number of volunteers and visitors they receive each year. Recently though, a number of people have been able to go and see the boys and staff, and it's been such a wonderful thing for the Shiloh family! One of our long time donors, Julie, visited with her family and wanted to share this with our donor family:
"My family (myself, husband and two daughters, ages 10 and 12) had the pleasure of visiting Susan and the kids mid December for 2 days. Although Susan and I talk fairly regularly, we were still blown away to see all the amazing work that is being done. The boys were happy, well fed, and well taken care of. I loved seeing them lining up for food and praying enthusiastically prior to eating. We got to play some cricket and other games with them. Susan cooked us warm comfort food that she poured her love in to! Her chai was amazing as well. What surprised me was how her ministry goes further than her boys (whom she treats as her sons). Many local villagers come to church on Sundays to be blessed with God's word and a meal. I was so blessed to see how her love of God goes beyond what she pours into the boys but she also ministers to many locals providing food and work for them. I’m so thankful to know her and help with this amazing ministry." Let us know at info@nolongerorphans.org if you'd like to go and have your own experience at Shiloh!

Precious friend of NLO,
Greetings to you in the precious name of Jesus! We want to wish you a belated Christmas and a Christ filled new year, 2024. All the children and staff along with Ken, treasurer of our board of directors, had a great Christmas at Shiloh home. We thank you for all the gifts that the children and the staff received and enjoyed during Christmas because of your generosity. As we enter the new year there is a lot of anxiety, uncertainty, joy, hopes, aspirations, expectations, challenges, etc.etc. Let us together pray as we enter the new year. “ I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief” (Mk 9:24). Your thoughts and feelings are yours! Examine them. Don’t let them hijack you. Too often we are sandwiched between faith and doubt. Everything is possible for the one who believes ( Mk. 9:23). When we face doubt in 2024, let us remember three things: (1.) Don’t be afraid to acknowledge your doubts. (2.) Don’t let your doubts overrule your faith. God’s word in the matter is God’s will for you; stand on it. (3.) Hand your doubts over to the Lord and say, “ I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” How long does it take to learn to walk by faith? A lifetime! Please pray with and stand with us and together let us see the faithful hands of God meet all the needs of Shiloh home. Rest assured of our prayers for you. We wish you all a Christ filled new year, 2024. In Calvary’s love, Micah and Susan Lepper Shiloh Home Dear friend,
Greetings in the most precious name of Jesus from Shiloh home, Alwar ( India). By the grace of God all the 32 children, staff, all the believers in the church, Micah and myself we are doing well. Children are growing in the grace and love of Jesus! Children are going regularly to school. Slowly, Micah has also started to adjust in the school. All are studying well. Along with all the children and staff we went to see the “Taj Mahal” and all enjoyed the one day educational/ recreational trip. By the grace of God the church is growing and we had several baptisms, to God be all the glory! A team from Kota along with Samuel Thomas and the worship leaders came to Shiloh home for baptism service and for one day gospel meeting. As you know, God willing, on November 7th we are planning to have the Shiloh home birthday party. All the children, staff and believers are excited and looking forward to a grand celebration. As we are approaching Thanksgiving in the month of November, I want to say that we are blessed beyond measure. We are thankful to God for providing our daily bread, school fees for all the children, healing several children from the Dengue fever, for our warm clothes for this winter, and above all for helping us to grow in His love and in His grace. We would love for you to come and worship the Lord with all the children and believers. I often think of you and pray for you. We as a Shiloh family we pray for you three times a day. We are grateful to God for your prayers and for your support. Did you know that you can have the peace of God everyday regardless of your circumstances: “ The Lord of peace Himself will grant you His peace ……. at all times…. in all ways ( 2 Thess. 3:16). God has no worries or problems because He controls everything. When God speaks, peace is the message….never settle for any course that’s not characterized by peace…. it’s not God! Thanks again for your love, prayers and faithful support. In the loving service of the King! Micah and Susan Lepper Shiloh home, Alwar ( India ) Dear loving friend of NLO,
Greetings in the name of Jesus! We thank you for your prayers and for your support for this ministry of the Lord in Alwar, India. By the grace of God Micah is going to a school in Alwar. Same place where all other children also are studying. Few days back I was able to take all the children and staff to the city of AGRA, it is where Taj-Mahal is located (one of the seven wonders of the world). All the children and the staff enjoyed their trip and by the grace of God we all came back safely. Because of your faithful support and prayers we are able to do fun things for the children in the “Shiloh Home”. We also rejoice over the fact that new believers are being added to the church and many of them have obeyed the Lord in baptism during the month of August, TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! Please pray for my health as I do get low in energy and pray that God may keep all the children safe from the “Dengue fever”! It is really too hot here in Alwar. But I know God has called me and Micah to serve Him in Alwar. "I have called him…. and he will succeed in his mission” ( Isa. 48:15). When God decides to use you and me, five things happen: A.) There is a CALL. ( Jer. 1:5). God always uses common people to do uncommon things. B.) There is FEAR. Moses said to God out of fear, please use someone else. C.) There is REASSURINANCE. Joshua could never do what Moses was able to do. I feel the same when I think of all that God did through Dr. Andy Lepper, and I say there is no way I can help lead this work. But I am reminded by what God said to Joshua, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you! D.) There is a DECISION. When we decide to say yes to the Lord, we live with Joy, when we say no we forfeit that Joy. E.) There is a CHANGED LIFE. Saying yes to the Lord is the best decision you will ever make! In His Grace alone! Susan and Micah Lepper Dear loving friends, Enjoy this video from the Shiloh Christmas celebration! Here is a new video from Susan! There have been some challenges this month. Please continue to pray for Shiloh and their community. This year, we have set a goal to be better at communicating with our awesome supporters. After Andy's passing, it's no surprise to anyone that he left a lot of big holes. One that we didn't plug right away in the midst of plugging more immediate ones was communicating with our donors and supporters. We had to reinvent the wheel a little bit, because Susan is different from Andy. What we've come up with are monthly vlogs (video blogs), where Susan gets to talk and show you what they've ben up to at Shiloh. So, please enjoy our first installment of Susan's Vlog! We have never celebrated Thanksgiving here at Shiloh Home before, since Indians don't celebrate this American holiday. But since Chloe is here to teach Micah, and we all knew she would be missing her family, we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving in our own special way.
